Welcome to Iron Cheesecake. Here you will find many random
and possibly freaky annimations all built in Macromedia Flash.
Click on a movie on the left or the movie link at the top
to access our range of movies. You can also use the form below
to subscribe to our newsletter and get updates of all our
new movies.
26/07/2004: Wow, seven months. I never have
up hope on Iron Cheesecake though, movies still boiled in
the back of by mind. Today that faith pays off - Iron Cheesecake
is back!
24/12/2003: Well its Christmas Eve - merry
Christmas y'all! I am uploading the Christmas special movie
now although thanks to some server side scripting you won't
have access to it until midnight - like I said it won't be
available till Christmas day but this way as soon as Christmas
day begins you can watch it.
21/12/2003: Now is the fine to sign up for
the newsletter because I am just putting the final touches
to the Christmas special movie which will be released on Christmas
day :). Yes I have nothing better to do then upload movies.
17/12/2003: Finally got round to an update.
Still got many newsletters that need sending out, a to do
list which is growing, although thankfully not at a great
rate. I need to head off now but I will be around with some
new movies soon. Check out the new one, I have had it in mind
for a while.
06/12/2003: Another update within a week
of the last, I thought it had been longer. But thats besides
the point take a look at the latest movie - a deeply impacting
documentary on the shapes of our universe.
30/11/2003: I can't say much because I am
at a party and its just past midnight but half an hour when
the party was still at the church hall and not at my house
I took this video of a sulute to my parents 25th weeding anniversery
by some of their friends. Check it out. Its almost 2 mb but
its worth it.
18/11/2003: Wow it has nearly been a week
since my last update. Of course sometimes the site can go
for a month with no updates but with my recent trends a week
is suprising. I have plenty of ideas to work with thought
it is simply getting round to them. I might send a newsletter
out at the end of today - epsecially for ou JD ;). Yeah, if
you don't want your inbox full then check your emails more
often.
Anyway todays new movie is Kennedy Conspiracy; seen as their
is a documentary coming on TV soon about it, it got me hyped
up to do a movie about good old JFK. I have also fixed the
Monkey Dance movie so that you do not get the title screen
each time it loops.
Ah excellent I did get time to do some more today. I have
a few more ideas kicking around so hopefully I will manage
to get these ideas out soon, until then sit back, relax and
watch the brand new episode of Junfan & McPie Mysteries.
Hu, managed to upload the remainder of the video that was
taken by Andy and Deni when I foolishly let them get hold
of my video camera. This form the basis for The Happy Gang
episode 4. Definatly time for a newsletter now I think.
12/11/2003: Heading out with Deni and Carl
tonight but seen as nobody cares about my personal life considering
how warped and twisted it could well be I shall talk more
on todays movies. We are kicking off with a new episode of
Peeping Martin! Hopefully I will get another one done tonight
too.
Well suddenly every movie seems to have new seqels and Mr
Yogert also has a new episode with the 4th in the series,
one of our longest running series, as he goes for a bit of
singing. Plus I have just done Monkey Dance the movie as well.
11/11/2003: Peeping Martin may not be here
but the night is reasonably young and I finally got round
to making episode one of Junfan and McPie mysteries which
turned out better than I had originally hoped it would.
Woohoo I am still going with the movies as this new one proves,
I already have out a sequel to McPie & Junfan Mysteries
with their second wacky episode. They are fun to do and pretty
simple too so I may do some more sometime.
10/11/2003: Its hard to beleive that less
than 2 weeks after Halloween, my Halloween special annimation
has already been pushed off the new movies list to make way
for the new content I am adding. Although with it being episode
3 of the Happy Gang I am sure you will agree it is a worthy
course.
I also got round to making Inner City phone conversation
which I have a strange desire to call Inter City phone conversation
as it looks so much better - those going through my source
code will notice the movie file is named that. No promises
on this one but I may start work on a new Peeping Martin tommorow.
08/11/2003: Wow a day of celebration! There
are no less than two new Iron Cheesecake movies added to the
line up today pushing Death Body Spray and Ron Howard Groove
off the new movies list. The first is random on the spot movie
Freaky Weaky, pronounced just as it sounds for reference.
The second is the one which I have been wanting to do for
a while and am fairly pleased with how it turned our providing
all the ActionScript works fine - Gran on a spoon. Plus for
those who had technical problems viewing Iraqi Tobaci it should
now work fine.
So what are the new movies in celebration of? The movie to
our new server of course! IronCheesecake.com is no longer
just a pointer to the M World host, its now on Worfolk Online's
new server, with a new email address, new domain mapping and
more! Enjoy.
06/11/2003: I have an idea for a movie I
really want to get done but until then there is this quick
movie to keep you going until then. I'm not sure I quite understand
it, its more of a puzzler than a humour one but never the
less its in fitting with the Iron Cheesecake style.
04/11/2003: Due to much demand, it is finally
out, the second episode of The Happy Gang! Yes you can rest
easy now knowing that it wasn't a one off and there will be
more than one episode. Sadly it pushes Forumula One Fan from
the new movies section but then again - its a second episode
of The Happy Gang!
I still want to make a few changes to the site such as using
a file include on the left menu although that is a problem
for later, right now its time to celebrate I beleive.
31/10/2003: Its halloween, the Simpsons
special has been on TV, trick and treaters have been round
and what I am doing? Of course I am taking photos and making
wierd movies about the subject of halloween. Enjoy it; its
571KB but good!
19/10/2003: It has been a while since I
have made any new movies but I really cannot find time to
do some of the ones I wanted. However I did want a classic
in your face movie (which would be compatable with Flash 3)
that would be easy to make. The result - Ron Howard Groove.
Enjoy.
The bad news is that Flash 3 does not support most of my
scripts so its Flash 6. Still better than the usual Flash
6 though for backward compatability. I now have Flash Studio
7 although using Flash 6 allows me to compress movies I export
in Flash 6 which is better. This movie could not be compressed
however as its in Flash 5 although I built a preloader.
Then I found out that is only 13kb for some reason. Wierd.
Still this should make it easy to load so have fun watching
it over and over again. Also watch out for the Ben Stiller
cameo 14 minutes in.
04/10/2003: It has been a while since any
updates with all the problems I have been having with my laptop.
Still I sent out a mailing a few days ago saying I would soon
be releasing new material, and I shall deliver. Death Body
Spray is now on site.
With the amount of pages rapidly rising, sorting out some
way to update the menu on the left is going to become an issue
eventually. Although I am sure I will think of something.
For now I have reorded it to show the latest movies and some
of the classics.
17/09/2003: Laptop is working again for
the moment! Loads to update while I still can. Although all
files are now backed up on my desktop too. I seemed to have
missed mentioning Formula One Fan but thats on the site now.
Just adding Micro Rolf Harris today which is the newest movie.
07/09/2003: Today I will be posting at least
2 movies which I finished yesterday - Mar! Bunny and Meatball
Man so check those out. The rest of my day will probably be
spent working on some new movies for sister site Hardy
Ha TV. I also added a ZeroRed search box on the left.
It allows you to search 15 engines in 1. Clever.
06/09/2003: Well I have just done the New
Zealand phone conversation and am currently riding a wave
storm of new ideas so I will hopefully have some more movies
by the end of the day. 30 minutes later I return to write
this line. I have just uploaded the third Mr Yoget movie and
this time he has gone skate boarding. I also reorganised the
movies so all 3 Mr Yogert movies can be found under the one
Mr Yogert page.
Well the creative juices are still flowing and its not even
noon. Well its about to turn noon as I write this. Anyway
I have just finished putting together Formula One Fan, a movie
that has been playing on my mind. Thanks to Gary for the inspiration.
Also I ran a few checks on my search engine positioning.
Well nobody else really has a website called Iron Cheesecake
so its a more of 'check for inclusion' thing. I'm top of Google,
AllTheWeb,
AltaVista,
Ask.com,
Yahoo,
Mamma,
Lycos,
WebCrawler,
Teoma.
I am not top on DogPile,
Search.com,
MetaCrawler,
Excite
and Blast
Find so those are now classifed as semi loser search engines.
And I am not listed at all in dmoz,
Hotbot,
MSN,
WiseNut
so those are complete loser search engines. Well we will show
them, I have just added loads of meta descriptions and keywords.
I will do another search in a few months see how things have
changed.
25/08/2003: Well I did manage to sort Mr
Yogert Bungee out. Its a slightly smaller file than the last
one at 171 kb due to the video being smaller although its
longer and I beleive looks better. Thats from what I saw working
in Flash studio though. This one has a preloader so it all
loads before it starts and hopefully this preloader should
actually work due to some changes in the code removing problems.
24/08/2003: Well just filmed Mr Yogert's
bungee jump. Lets just say he does not bungee too well ;).
You should see the dent. Hopefully I should have that movie
up by tommorow. Also in my continuing search for something
to replace book surfing as it doesn't work as well as I had
hoped, I tried shiney metal rod surfing and sock surfing.
The latter worked best although they both worked well but
the pole was wierd and the sock was not big enough so I might
not have actually been surfing on it. My quest continues.
15/08/2003: That wacky Leprechaun has returned
for his second episode. That makes our second series where
the same theme has had more than one episode. Not counting
phone conversations or singing toilets however. New hosting
is still not online but I hope it should be up soon with a
new email address and everything.
Also today I got round to creating the 'Get a room!' movie
which has a link on the left. Check that random people out
that appear in that. I tried book surfing today but I don't
think it will work unfortunatly :(. The books don't slide
like I hoped they would. Ah well. Plenty more crazy ideas
coming your way.
09/08/2003: Well today saw me purchase www.ironcheesecake.com
domain as well as upload the updates to the website and launch
of the newsletter. Waiting for the domain to propogate seen
as it was registered at around 10 am. Just finished the Mary
Kate and Ashley Experiment movie ;) - check it out now! And
sign up for the newsletter. So much to do, so little time.
05/08/2003: Despite musical annoyance from
the campers next door I got Indian Phone Conversation done.
Be home in 4 days where I can film a new one - book surfing!
Also check my mountains of emails and I am still on track
for purchasing ironcheesecake.com although my mind is wavering
and I probably won't have chance to order it till Saturday
- it being Tuesday today.
One other thing is I patched up errors in American Phone
Conversatio and Legend of the Iron Cheesecake to stop them
looping as they were doing previously. Don't worry - the major
bug is now sorted, fixed, etc and we can all get on with our
lives ;). Sign up for the newsletter! Do it now! Subbliminal
advertising in this entry. Last time it was the fear of missing
something. What tactic will I use to try and get you to sign
up next time.
Wow the second ever three paragragh entry. This bit is annoucing
the release of Big Brother India which I built after writing
the above. Its been waving for some time and minus the real
sound track is now available on the site - yay.
01/08/2003: What's that? You are about to
sign up for the updates newsletter? Thats great! You won't
want to miss new features such as todays - Singing Toilets
II! Yes a new set of toilets take to the opera stage to sing
with a cool percentage preloader too to help you count down
the loading of 767kb. I hope you peeps have broadband though
56k's, its still worth the wait. Normal people would use their
holiday footage for something mundane, but not me ;).
29/07/2003: Holidays are a time for thinking.
Thinking of new movie ideas that is and I have loads. First
stop is to list them in the planned movies section on the
movies page. I am also thinking about how to structure the
archiving of all this editorial I am writing. Maybe in 6 month
periods. I dunno yet. One thing I am set on at the moment
though is to buy ironcheesecake.com. Wonder if my mind will
still be set the new time I get the oppenunity to make such
a purchase.
Also I have to commend Bob Walker. In his recent Warhammer
article he recommended saying the world 'wibble' every time
your oppent picked up a dice in order to destract them ;).
A tactic which works suprising well. Anyway - its now offical.
Our first follow up movie, ie. one with two episodes is born.
Peeping Martin II is now available. Hurray! Hopefully more
to come today.
Three paragraphs. This is one big editorial. I have more
movies too. I finished American Phone Conversation and started
on Indian Phone Conversation as well as building Legend of
the Iron Cheesecake.
26/07/2003: Well big news. I just created
a database to store all the emails in for the new updates
newsletter. This will send you alerts of all the changes and
new movies posted on Iron Cheesecake. Now to work on the front
end pages. Added a newsletter link under the site stuff menu
and changed FAQ to FAQ Answers. Now to add the subscription
box at the top of this page section bit type thing.
01/07/2003: Need a loan? Then check out
the latest streaming media advert from Loanski & Co. Sadly
this movie is like 1 Mb (1,000 kb) so you might want to replay
it once you have it fully downloaded. Still its new and fresh
and online. Ok scratch that, its the source code. The actual
movie is only 60 kb ;).
29/06/2003: Well look whos back. Another
spur of the moment type indea. Started work as soon as I remembered
I was missing Star Trek. Motivation I guess. Ah well the new
interactive game style movie to waste some time is now online.
18/06/2003: Yesterday I heard a great tale.
Today I heard it again. And this time it inspired me to make
a movie about it. Obviously its not true but its funny anyway.
What do you know, I got round to making the singing toilets
(filming, editing, producing) today as well. This one really
is a biggy at 420 kb so it might take a few mins over a 56k
modem. Broadband users should have it loaded in 30 seconds
or shorted though.
14/06/2003: Well another day and another
new movie. The real question is can you sport the difference?
The hopeful plan is for the site to get enough movies so that
it becomes self sufficent almost. A few updates now and then
but there will be so many movies that you won't get tried
of them. Some kind of rotating menu bar so so it automatically
changes either daily or randomly.
13/06/2003: Well I was routing through my
old captures while backing up some video footage off my camcorder
and found a small video file called Mr Yogert :). Its another
one that I did while I presume I was stoned or something.
Its freaking me out. Takes a bit longer to load as it has
video - but only 193kb.
What what do you know. I even got round to making a second
movie today. Took a bunch of random characters and thought
"its time to do something with these," so I added
them all into a short movie involving pain and death, etc.
Also got round to adding three new pages - webmaster info,
frequently asked questions and contacts.
09/06/2003: Finally got round to adding
some more content with the introduction of the Office Assistant
movie. More on their way. Really wanna do something with African
Dave.
